I offer a specialized style of photography in the tradition of classic Hollywood.  Complex lighting, location shooting, glamorous settings, and an idealized view of the subject have been my forte for the past thirty years.  Creating an elegant, fantasy image gives me as much pleasure as it is for a client to find their likeness captured in a moment of complete refinement.  With my camera, it is always a “good day” for the subject, when perfect lighting meets the optimized angle of human physiognomy – when all elements align to create the consummate portrait or fashion statement; a flawless fraction of a second.

 

I leave nothing to chance in a photo session.  Each shot is carefully composed and fine-tuned to produce an impeccable image.  Whether the assignment is portraiture, fashion, editorial, or product photography, I treat the subject with sharp evaluation and unrelenting pursuit of the perfect photograph.  My cameras range from large format analog (8x10 negative) to state-of-the-art digital.  Most sessions are shot in color – all photos can be easily converted to black & white to meet the preference of the client.

 

My fee schedule spans a range of applications and I’ll be happy to supply a quote.  Most basic portrait sittings start at $300, which includes five finished and fully retouched images delivered on CD ROM or download for the client to keep and print.  Also, photographic prints made by me can be purchased separately. 

 

Photo sessions usually occupy between 2-4 hours, depending on the stamina and patience of the subject (but this is flexible, and is case-by-case).  The equation is simple: the more time I am given for the session = more photos to take = more opportunities for amazing shots.  Up to five wardrobe changes are at the option of the client.  A stylist (hair and make-up) is usually not needed but would be at the expense of the subject, as would be special shooting locations.
